The number of casualties from a missile strike on a hospital in Dnipro has reached 25 people

This was reported by the First Deputy Head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Volodymyr Orlov, on “KYIV24” TV channel.

“At the moment, 25 people have been affected, 19 are receiving treatment in the hospital, 3 are in critical condition, including two children aged 3 and 6 with moderate severity, and 5 are receiving outpatient treatment. We already have two fatalities: a 69-year-old man who was passing by and another person who was pulled out from under the rubble. The clinic was operational, so we cannot determine the number of people trapped under the debris until the operation is completed. Indeed, we have lost contact with two doctors. This clinic is a psychiatric facility located in a residential area. The veterinary clinic, stadium, and high-rise buildings have been completely destroyed. An enemy missile hit the center of the residential area. Dnipro is indeed a medical hub for both military personnel and internally displaced persons. Therefore, there are indeed many people in hospitals in the city, and the medical system is under immense pressure. We also had missile impacts on a transportation enterprise and a gas station, where an employee sustained minor injuries and will receive outpatient treatment. Several cars were damaged, and there were impacts near two enterprises where there was a fire. The fire was quickly contained. We also had a missile impact on a private household, but there was no damage there”, he explained.

As it is known, Russia launched a missile strike on Dnipro in the morning, targeting a medical facility.
