The Parliament passed the e-declaration law with an amendment that was necessary for the President’s approval

The results of the vote were announced by Yaroslav Zheleznyak, a Member of Parliament from the “Holos” faction.

What is known about the declaration for officials and civil servants The Verkhovna Rada has returned electronic declaration for officials and civil servants but has not made the register open immediately. This means that no one will be able to publicly see the assets of officials for one year.

Civil society and Ukraine’s partners, including the G7 countries and the European Union, have called on President Volodymyr Zelensky to veto the bill. Zelensky instructed Deputy Prime Minister Olha Stefanishyna to hold consultations with partners regarding this bill. Based on these consultations, he will make a decision.

A petition requesting Zelensky to veto the e-declaration bill has garnered a record 83,000 votes.
