The commander of the separate reconnaissance group “Birds of Madjar” Robert Brovdi reported on KYIV24 that the technology for detecting enemy drones is not complex and can be quickly mastered.
“We share this experience widely. Today, our unit has already trained 71 crews, 39 of which are equipped with such means”, said Brovdi.
To ensure proper protection along the entire front line, 500-1000 crews are needed. Ukrainian-made electronic warfare complexes are affordable and do not require spare parts from abroad.
“Their mass application with the appropriate order that exists—the order of the General Staff on the urgent integration of that staff—then we can complete the formation of that shield in a month and a half along the entire front”, noted Brovdi.
This step can significantly strengthen Ukraine’s defense against Russian forces. Drones are a crucial element of Russian military tactics, and their use causes significant losses to the Ukrainian army. Electronic warfare complexes will allow for the detection and interception of enemy drones, helping to avoid many casualties and destruction.
