Ukraine has returned 45 more defenders of “Azovstal” from captivity

This was reported by the Head of the Office of the President, Andriy Yermak.

“All of them are National Guard soldiers from a unit created nine years ago on the shores of the Azov Sea. There are 35 privates and sergeants, and 10 officers”, he informed.

Among those released from captivity are soldiers who got married during the defense of Mariupol on “Azovstal”.

Yermak also said that there is one of our soldiers who was in Russian captivity for 2.5 years before the large-scale invasion and was captured again at “Azovstal”. He was freed and immediately returned to his unit.

It should be noted that on April 26, another exchange of prisoners took place, and Ukraine returned 44 people home.
