This was reported by the expert of the Institute of Energy Strategies Yuriy Korolchuk on KYIV24.
According to the expert, the situation is complicated by the lack of electricity production. TPPs and CHPs will be restored, but out of the 5,500 MW damaged, only about 2,500 will be restored, which is less than 50%.
Due to the electricity shortage in Ukraine, schedules for disconnecting residential and industrial users have been introduced. This is happening because Russia has been actively attacking Ukrainian energy infrastructure objects for the past few months. As a result of such attacks, the enemy severely damaged the heat generation in Ukraine, affecting a large number of TPPs and CHPs.
