Yuriy Ignat, the spokesperson for the Ukrainian Air Force Command, made this statement during an interview on KYIV24.
“Last year, we mostly encountered attacks with Soviet-era air defense systems. It’s clear that we will also receive these missiles from our partners as they are still in service. However, gradually, they will be replaced by new modern systems of Western origin, not necessarily brand new, but also Western-made”, he said.
