Ukrainian Intelligence Strikes Russian Radar Station 1800 km from Border

The Ukrainian drone covered a distance of over 1800 kilometers to reach the enemy target, setting a new range record for kamikaze drones. The impact assessment is still being determined.

Russian social media reported that a UAV “fell” near Orsk, and the target of the drone was “likely a military object”.

Previously, the farthest target attacked by Ukrainian drones was an object in Salavat, Bashkortostan, Russia, which is 140 kilometers closer to the Ukrainian border compared to Orsk.

It should be noted that the “Voronezh-M” radar station is part of Russia’s family of stationary over-the-horizon radar stations with long-range detection capabilities. These are designed to detect space and aerodynamic objects, including ballistic and cruise missiles. This particular radar operates in the meter wavelength range and has a target detection range of up to 6000 kilometers.

Additionally, it was reported today that drones attacked a gas station in the Oryol region of Russia, with subsequent images of the damaged site appearing online.
