These are two baby bisons – Varta and Viking.
Mother Vesta gave birth to little Varta on June 27, and yesterday mother Verbena pleased us by giving birth to Viking, the post noted.
And they added that bisons are very “family” by nature, so the baby is under the sensitive care of bison relatives from the first days.
Now the babies are in an open enclosure, enjoying the warm sun and tasting mother’s milk.
