Russians have launched a drone attack on Kyiv, causing civilian casualties

The Kyiv City Military Administration reported that a dozen enemy targets were detected and destroyed using air defense forces and equipment.

“This is the 505th day of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Kyiv has been under barrage attacks by Shahed munitions for the third consecutive day. Last night, there was a massive attack by Iranian drones. UAVs approached the capital from different directions. Using air defense forces and equipment, we detected and destroyed about a dozen enemy targets in the airspace of Kyiv. We thank the defenders of our sky for their excellent work!” said Sergiy Popko, the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration.

According to his information, fragments have been reported to have fallen in the districts of Darnytskyi, Solomianskyi, Shevchenkivskyi, Obolonskyi, and Podilskyi. There are preliminary reports of damage to residential buildings.

“In the Darnytskyi district, two people were injured: a 19-year-old girl and a 23-year-old man (shrapnel wounds). They have been hospitalized. In the Shevchenkivskyi district, one person was rescued during the cleanup operation”, Popko clarified.
