Alexey Orzhel, the head of the “Energy” sector at the Office of Effective Regulation, shared this information on KYIV24.
“Everything will depend on the actions of the Russians. If they concentrate their attacks on the generation facilities, the winter could be truly difficult. Preparation is currently underway to find alternative sources. Mobile generators will be used to revive critical infrastructure. Energy providers will implement mobile solutions. Potential outcomes may vary across different regions, with some being worse off and others better off. We must prepare to have significant reserves. But everyone should also have a Plan B”, said the expert.
As a reminder, Russia has started studying the state of energy in Ukraine and is using various forms of reconnaissance for this purpose.
