“The Office of the Commissioner for Missing Persons, together with law enforcement agencies, continues to return the fallen defenders home. Today, another transfer of the bodies of heroes took place – 49 fallen defenders were returned to Ukraine,” the report reads.
Oleh Kotenko, Commissioner for Missing Persons, said that together with law enforcement agencies, the Commissioner’s Office is doing everything possible to return as many bodies as possible.
In total, Ukraine has returned the bodies of 827 defenders since the beginning of the work of the Commissioner’s Office.
On November 22, Ukraine returned the bodies of 33 fallen defenders.
