German Interior Minister Nancy Feser and Minister of Social Affairs Hubertus Heil arrived on Monday on a visit to Ukraine. This is reported by Der Spiegel.
“Federal Internal Minister Nancy Feser and Minister of Social Affairs Hubertus Heil (both from the Social Democratic Party of Germany) came to Ukraine for a visit. At the beginning of their trip, SPD politicians wanted to visit the war-destroyed city of Irpin in the morning,” the report says.
For both German ministers, this is the first visit to Ukraine after the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine.
“In addition to the trip to Irpin, meetings are also planned with Ukrainian politicians, in particular Feser’s colleague Denys Monastyrskyi, head of civil protection Serhiy Kruk, Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Economy Yulia Svyridenko, Minister of Social Policy Oksana Zholnovich and Mayor of Kyiv Vitali Klitschko”, – German newspaper reports.
