As part of the event, interactive locations will be created, including baking bread in a special oven.

On July 23, the National Museum of Folk Architecture and Life of Ukraine in Pyrohiv will celebrate the Day of Ukrainian Statehood and the Feast of Ukrainian Bread. This is reported by the press service.

“The Feast of Ukrainian bread is a multidisciplinary cultural and artistic event with an educational and educational component, which aims to provide the development of Ukrainian society through bakery traditions,” the release states.

As part of the event, interactive locations will be created, where visitors will be able to see and take an active part in the recreation of the ancient rite of “obzhinok”, threshing sheaves, milling wheat into flour and baking bread.

“Each action will take place according to ancient Ukrainian traditions. On this day, the exhibition of traditional bakery remains “Everyone will reap what he sows” will be open, where visitors will be able to learn a lot of interesting things about the noble profession of farmers,” the museum informed.

One of the main events will be the baking of bread in a special oven at the Prolisok location from the Baker’s House. Visitors will be able to participate in the preparation of freshly baked bread and in the tasting of bread with this year’s honey.

The event starts on July 23 at 1:00 p.m.
