Ukrainian National Guard fighters have destroyed a Russian Su-25 attack aircraft, which was on a combat mission in the Donetsk region
This was reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Ukrainian National Guard fighters spotted the Russian Su-25, also known as the “Frogfoot”, during its combat sortie and shot it down.
The successful strike on the enemy aircraft was carried out by a combined unit of the 31st Brigade of the Ukrainian National Guard using a portable surface-to-air missile system “Igla.”
