Ukrainian Defense Forces are making advances within the town of Vovchansk in the Kharkiv region.
This was reported by military analyst Denys Popovych on Kyiv24.
Currently, there is progress within Vovchansk, with Ukrainian forces reclaiming certain streets and pushing the enemy northward. Popovych noted that while this is not as extensive a counteroffensive as the one in Kharkiv two years ago, it is significant.
He clarified that the Ukrainian Armed Forces have effectively halted the Russian advance despite their attempts to create a buffer zone, capture Vovchansk, and use new positions to shell Kharkiv. These plans have been completely thwarted. The enemy has been stopped, and Ukrainian forces are conducting counterattacks within Vovchansk.
