US Ambassador to Ukraine Bridget Brink met with the chief rabbi of Kyiv, Jonathan Markovitch, the official representative of the Rebbe Lubavitcher Menachem Mendel Schneerson. Brink announced this on Twitter.
“Heartened to hear from Chief Rabbi Markovitch that Ukraine’s Jewish community continues to enjoy full freedom to practice as they please, and I admire the community’s commitment to caring for their neighbours in need,”
the US ambassador wrote.
As reported, the United States Ambassador to Ukraine Bridget Brink met with the Supreme Bishop of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church Svyatoslav Shevchuk on July 19.
