A flower panel dedicated to the heroes is planted on the green slope in front of the Pechersk Bridge.

For the Day of Ukrainian Statehood, a flower panel was created in Kyiv in honor of the “Azov” Special Operations Detachment. This was reported by the “Kyivzelenbud”.

“On an area of 35 sq. m we planted 8700 flowers. In the center of the blue-yellow flag is the symbol of “Azov”. Ageratum, yellow tagetis, iresine, van Gutt’s alternantera and cineraria were chosen to create the picture. But, of course, no flowers will be enough to thank our steel “Azovians” for their indomitability in the fight for Ukraine,” Oleksiy Korol, CEO of “Kyivzelenbud” says.

The fighters of the “Azov” regiment became a symbol of the indomitability of the Ukrainian people in the struggle for the right to be independent, to live on their motherland free from occupiers, in a democratic state with more than a thousand years of history and a successful future, the message says.

“This is our dedication to modern heroes and our small contribution to the fact that “Azov” is remembered, and we continue to do everything possible for the release of our heroes, we must make maximum efforts so that the defenders of “Azovsteel” return home to their relatives as soon as possible.” – the head of the Department of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Kyiv City State Administration Oleksandr Voznyi noted.
