In Irpin, Kyiv region, the collection of books for future residents of the modular town, which will open next week, begins. This was reported by Yevgenia Antonyuk, a deputy of the Irpin city council, head of the department of culture, nationalities, and religions.
“I have been convinced many times that only together we are strong! That’s why I’m asking to you again! Next week, a modular town is opening in Irpin for our residents who have lost their homes. There are plans to create its own library on the territory of the town. I am announcing the collection of Ukrainian-language books, and I believe that we will be able to cope with it,” Antonyuk wrote on Facebook.

Anyone who wants to join can bring books to the Irpin city public library named after Maksym Rylsky and leave them in the local history room until August 3.
In addition, in the lobby of the library, the collection of Russian-language books for recycling continues. Funds are directed to enhance Ukraine’s defense capability.
