As of August 1, the farmers of the region threshed 727.51 thousand tonnes of grain and leguminous crops harvested from an area of 242.99 thousand hectares.
The average yield is currently 29.94 t/ha. Winter and spring wheat were harvested from 187.32 thousand hectares, 580.13 thousand tonnes were threshed with an average yield of 30.97 tonnes/ha. Winter and spring barley were harvested from 48.22 thousand hectares, 128.2 thousand tonnes were threshed with a yield of 26.58 tonnes/ha.
Farmers of Kyiv region harvested rye from 3.5 thousand hectares, threshed 10.8 thousand tonnes with a yield of 31 tonnes/ha. 7.4 thousand tonnes of peas were threshed from 3.95 thousand hectares, the yield is 18.74 t/ha.
In addition, harvesting of winter and spring rapeseed is in progress. 124.7 thousand tonnes of rapeseed were threshed with an average yield of 27.71 t/ha.
The active period of silage harvesting continues in the region. 15,000 tonnes of hay, 25,000 tons of silage, and 5,000 tonnes of straw were harvested to meet livestock needs.
