Luna the cria was born in the Kyiv Zoo: Kyiv residents are invited to visit

The baby alpaca was born at the end of July, and now it has been released into the enclosure.

A family of alpacas from the capital zoo – Ushka and Luis Alberto – became the new parents of a wonderful daughter named Luna on July 25. This was reported on the Kyiv ZOO Facebook page.

Now the cria is in an open enclosure, enjoying the warm sun and tasting mother’s milk.

“Employees care about animals, select a complex diet for them and create a natural environment for their living. We invite Kyiv residents and guests of the capital to see the family of alpacas, and the zoo is home to the biggest land predators and herbivores of our planet, rare types of birds, reptiles, and many other animals,” the Kyiv Zoo said.

Outdoor exhibits, bird lakes and an arboretum also available for Zoo visitors.
