The trip to Estonia was made possible thanks to the cooperation of the Kyiv city authorities with the Tallinn City Hall.
This was reported by the Kyiv City State Administration.
The report noted that 44 children from families affected by the war went to a children’s health camp in Estonia for a holiday.
“We continue to work to ensure that our children have the opportunity to receive medical treatment in safe conditions, in places where hostilities are not ongoing and where you can distract yourself from the war. The Estonian side showed readiness to accept some of our children and prepared a special program for this. I thank the Tallinn City Hall for the support and organization of the holiday,” Maryna Honda, deputy head of the Kyiv City State Administration said.
Thanks to the cooperation of the city authorities with international partners, 140 people have already gone to other countries for recovery and rest. In particular, about 80 people from large families went to Italy, and 50 people from families of defenders of Ukraine went to Georgia. Another 10 children from families affected by the war are on holiday in Finland.
