During construction, the most modern technologies and a large amount of foreign-made equipment are used: Denmark, Germany, Czech Republic.

This was reported by the Kyiv City State Administration.

The message noted that Kyiv continues to implement critical infrastructure projects, which needed for a city to function properly. In particular, the construction of the pumping station, which is an extremely important part of the reconstruction of the city’s drainage system, is now at the final stage.

“Currently, the financial priority is defense. However, there are projects started before a full-scale invasion that are critically needed to be completed from the position of the safe functioning of the city. Our task is to continue the implementation of those large projects and works that are vitally important for Kyiv and its residents. The sewage pumping station in Poznyaki is currently operating with an increased load. After the launch of this equipment, the wastewater treatment system will work in a more balanced way. Both technological and resource issues within the framework of this project are under special control. And we will do everything to complete it,” Petro Panteleev said.

He added that during the construction, the most modern technologies and a large amount of foreign-made equipment are used: Denmark, Germany, and the Czech Republic. With the onset of the autumn-winter season, daily rainfall intensities increase, temperature fluctuations and soil freezing, which negatively affects the systems of the sewage equipment.

According to the deputy head of the Kyiv City State Administration, the daily productivity of the new station will be 600,000 cubic meters/day, and due to the installation of modern pumping equipment, it is also planned to increase its energy efficiency. Energy-efficient measures implemented during construction will allow to reduce the specific costs of transporting sewage by approximately 30%.
