The Kyiv City Military Administration told how many educational institutions in Kyiv have prepared shelters for students

In total, 68% of shelters are available in Kyiv, the administration assures.

In Kyiv, about a third of municipal educational institutions are not ready for the new academic year. The Kyiv City Military Administration reports this in Telegram.

“We are often asked about the new school year. We answer: Kyiv is preparing. At the moment, all municipal educational institutions have already been inspected. And these are 1,063 premises,” the message reads.

Kyiv City Military Administration noted that 740 premises of educational institutions are recommended for opening, because they have shelter.

There are 323 educational institutions that do not have shelters or are not recommended for the population.

In total, 68% of shelters are available in Kyiv.
