Portuguese Foreign Minister Juao Cravinho, during his visit to Ukraine on August 24, visited Irpin, which was under the occupation of the russian army.

This was announced by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Portugal on Twitter.

“After meetings with President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi and his couterpart Dmytro Kuleba, Minister of Foreign Affairs Juao Cravinho witnessed the devastating impacts of the war during his visit to Irpin, a city close to the Ukrainian capital, and known for its heroic resistance to the russian invasion,” the message reads.

As we wrote, on August 24, the Independence Day of Ukraine, Prime Minister of Great Britain Boris Johnson arrived in Kyiv. During the visit, he announced a new military aid package from Great Britain worth 54 million pounds.
