Myroslav Fareniuk, a Ukrainian master of customizing clothes and sneakers, has released his own models of handcrafted sneakers.
DTF Magazine writes about it.
The founder of the Stillalive project has currently presented two models — Stugna, inspired by military aesthetics and Ghost, created in honor of the collective image of Ukrainian pilots, nicknamed the Ghost of Kyiv.
Each pair is handcrafted. The upper is made of natural leather of Ukrainian production and pixel oxford with embroidery elements and a rubber back. The sole and all cast parts are of Ukrainian production.
The kit also includes themed patches, an extra set of orthotic insoles, stickers and a metal logo badge. Each pair is wrapped in ammo wrapping paper and placed in a wooden box, in the style of military ammunition boxes.
The cost of a pair is $299. All net profit from the sale of sneakers in the project is promised to be donated to volunteers.
Farenyuk says that he is more focused on a foreign audience that wants to support Ukraine.
A new model of custom shoes is scheduled to be released in mid-September.
