On September 5, train service will be reduced to 3-4 minutes during peak hours, and to 6 minutes during off-peak hours.
Mykola Povoroznyk, the first deputy chairman of the Kyiv City State Administration, announced this on Facebook.
“From September 5, train frequency will be reduced in the capital metro. In peak hours, the train service interval will be 3-4 minutes, in off-peak hours – 6 minutes,” the message reads.
Mykola Povoroznyk reminded that during an air raid siren, the train service on the on-ground sections of the metro is stopped, and on the underground – continues. At the same time, underground stations continue to operate around the clock as a shelters.
