The pen was presented by the current US President, Joe Biden to the head of "Ukroboronprom" back in 2017 - in the position of Vice-President.
Joe Biden’s personalized pen was sold at auction for UAH 600,000. This was reported by the press service of “Ukroboronprom”.
The funds will be used to support the newly formed 47th Separate Battalion of the Armed Forces under the command of Ivan Shalamaha and Valery Markus.
“The “Ukroboronprom” thanks the Prozorro.sale system for the opportunity to put on charity auction – a pen given by the US Vice President in 2017 and now White House President, Joe Biden, to Concern’s CEO, Yuri Husev,” – the statement reads.
If for any reason the winner of the auction refuses to pay the offered amount, the right to redeem the pen will pass to the next bidder.
