In Russia, an explosion rocked the trunk gas pipeline Urengoi - Pomary - Uzhhorod.
That’s according to Interfax, referring to the press service of the head of Chuvashia.
“Prior to the fire, works were carried out by the operator Zavolzhye Linear Management of Main Gas Pipelines ‘Gazprom Transgaz Nizhny Novgorod,’” the statement reads.
The circumstances are being investigated. According to preliminary information by Interfax, at least three people were killed in the incident.
Gazprom Transgaz Nizhny Novgorod has not yet provided any comments.
