The city has begun reconstructing residential buildings that suffered damage due to Russian shelling

The work is planned to be completed closer to mid-autumn so that citizens can return to their homes before the heating season begins.

The city has allocated nearly 600 million hryvnias for reconstruction from the capital’s budget.

The government also allocated 200 million hryvnias from the state budget.

In total, almost 390 buildings need renovation, including more than 220 residential buildings.

Others are social infrastructure: medical institutions, kindergartens, schools, social welfare institutions, and administrative buildings.
