President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi held a meeting with a delegation of US politicians, businessmen and representatives of charitable organizations, led by former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo.

Welcoming the delegation in Kyiv, Zelenskyy emphasized the importance of such visits and meetings, which are a powerful signal of support for Ukrainians in the struggle for freedom and democracy.
“Unfortunately, the war has been going on for over a year now, and we are glad that the United States is standing by and fighting with us for common goals. We feel both bipartisan support and support from the White House,” the President said.
During the meeting, Zelensky invited American businesses to actively invest in Ukraine. He informed about the possibilities of business development in the fields of construction, agriculture, IT technologies, etc.
The President also emphasized the importance of continuing and strengthening defense assistance and joint development of defense technologies, considering the experience gained by Ukraine during the war.
A number of other topical issues were also discussed, including Ukraine’s move into NATO, the importance of further strengthening sanctions pressure on the Russian Federation.
