The main targets of Russian propaganda are formal and informal education, as well as youth movements, in order to raise Ukrainian children in the spirit of the "Russian world".
This was announced by the head of the “Almenda” Center for Civil Education, Valentyna Potapova, during a briefing.
According to her, large sums of money from the Russian federal budget are allocated for brainwashing. They are directed not only at formal but also at informal education, including youth movements.
As Potapova noted, children who have remained in temporarily occupied territories are victims of the deliberate policy pursued by the Russian Federation to raise more than a million children and young people in the spirit of “the great state of Russia”.
“We have counted the children who have remained in occupied Crimea, their number is 458,000. And they are precisely under the influence of Russian propaganda and the tools that are being used to move them from one group to another”, she emphasized.
It should be noted that compulsory evacuation of children was announced in 21 settlements in Donetsk region. There are five evacuation teams called “White Angels” operating in the region, which provide safe transportation of children in armored vehicles.
