The supposedly classified documents about the counteroffensive of the Ukrainian Forces that were published are fake.
This was stated by Advisor to the Head of the Office, Mykhailo Podoliak.
“If you have a working channel for receiving intelligence from the Pentagon, you will not destroy it for the sake of a one-day information occasion. If you have information about the enemy’s level of equipment and military plans, you will pretend that you do not have it”, he said.
According to the politician, Russia is looking for any way to intercept the informational initiative, and trying to influence the scenario plans of the counteroffensive of Ukraine.
“To cast doubt, compromise previous ideas, scare with their ‘knowledge’. But these are just standard elements of the operational game of Russian intelligence – and nothing more. It has nothing to do with Ukraine’s real plans”, stated Podoliak.
He explained that the published data is based more on statistical analysis of supplies, possible operational-tactical plans, and a large amount of fake information.
“War implies constant attempts by enemy intelligence agencies to gain access to the developments of the General Staff. And if Russia really got real scenario developments, it is unlikely that they would have made them public. After all, it is much more profitable to prepare your own counter-traps, leaving the other side unaware of your own knowledge. Instead, today’s publication is unequivocal evidence of Russia’s purely operational information game”, the advisor to the head of the Office assured.
Today, April 7, documents that supposedly detail the plans of the US and NATO to build up the Ukrainian army ahead of the planned counteroffensive appeared on Twitter and Telegram.
