Ukraine was able to return an additional 31 children deported by the Russian Federation, as part of the "Save Ukraine" mission.

This was stated by Mykola Kuleba, the executive director of “Save Ukraine” and the authorized representative of the President of Ukraine for Children’s Rights (2014-2021).

“During the fourth ‘Save Ukraine’ mission, we saved 18 Ukrainian children. The fifth rescue mission is now coming to an end, and in a few hours, 31 children will arrive in Kyiv”, he clarified.

Kuleba noted that with each rescue operation, the number of interrogations by FSB and the severity that families have to go through to get their children back increases.

Additionally, he stated that after Ukrainian children began to be returned en masse, after a series of rescue missions, and especially after the ICC issued a warrant for the arrest of Putin and Maria Lvova-Belova.
