Russians issued 40 thousand Russian passports to the captured city's residents

This was reported by Petro Andriushchenko, an advisor to the mayor of Mariupol.

“In the temporarily occupied Mariupol, the Russians issued 40 thousand Russian passports to the city’s residents. 280 thousand people in the occupied Mariupol. Do you remember such a propaganda statement? And here come the numbers. Official. 40 thousand passports issued in Mariupol and another 44 thousand are waiting. This is almost all the residents of Mariupol at the moment. And what happened to the other 200 thousand?”, Andriushchenko asked.

Earlier, the advisor to the mayor of Mariupol stated that residents of the occupied city are forced to obtain passports of the aggressor country. Without them, they are not issued work permits, pensions, or assistance, and salaries are not paid to employees, especially in the public sector.
