Russia received a new batch of Shahed drones from Iran. The increased aerial attacks on Ukraine with these drones and the markings on the drones are evidence of this.
This was reported by Natalia Humeniuk, the head of the Southern Operational Command, during a television marathon.
“The occupiers have received a new batch of Iranian drones, as evidenced by the markings found on the downed drones. We observed the attack by Russians in Mykolaiv region precisely with these drones. The same markings were on the drones that attacked Odessa”, Humeniuk said.
In her opinion, the occupiers are using kamikaze drones to keep the civilian population under pressure and to locate air defense systems and critical infrastructure objects.
It should be noted that over the last day, the Ukrainian military destroyed 21 Shahed drones out of 26.
