President Volodymyr Zelensky held a regular meeting of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief's General Staff, during which they discussed the establishment of missile and ammunition production by domestic enterprises, and analyzed the situation on all fronts.
This was reported by President Zelensky after the meeting.
“At the General Staff meeting, we analyzed the current situation on all fronts. We listened to (the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate) Budanov – we know all the enemy’s plans for the near future. We are developing an even better scheme for the distribution of weapons and ammunition among units, with particular attention to newly created brigades”, the President said. According to him, the meeting also discussed the issue of establishing missile and ammunition production by domestic enterprises.
“We are getting stronger every day”, emphasized the head of state.
As the President’s press service noted, during the General Staff meeting, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported on the current situation on the battlefield. Special attention was paid to the most difficult areas of the front – the areas of Bahmut, Avdiivka, and Marinka in Donetsk region.
Also, the Commander of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Commander of the Operational-Strategic Group “Khortytsya” Oleksandr Syrsky, the Commander of the Joint Forces Operation “Tavria” Oleksandr Tarnavsky, the Commander of the Joint Forces Operation “Odessa” Eduard Moskalov, and the Commander of the Joint Forces Operation “North” Serhiy Naiev reported on the course of hostilities in the areas of responsibility.
The members of the General Staff continued to discuss the issue of establishing missile and ammunition production by domestic enterprises and increasing the efficiency of the repair of armored vehicles, artillery, and other weapons.
