The Armed Forces of Ukraine stated that their own air defense system shot down the Russian aircraft.
This was reported by the spokesperson of the Air Force Command, Yuriy Ignat.
According to him, the enemy launched a strike aviation group to attack Ukraine from the Bryansk region. “They do this every day. They carried out attacks with guided bombs. There is already talk of a third helicopter, so five in total probably ran into some trouble. They wanted to bomb our peaceful people, our regions”, said Ignat.
He also stated that the Russian military themselves are responsible for the mass aviation disasters.
“It turns out so. Yes, of course. ‘The black day of aviation’ – they have already admitted it, there is an analysis. Who they are going to fire, punish for the mess that is happening. It’s nice to read such news from the enemy”, Ignat noted.
As previously reported, a Mi-8 helicopter crashed in the Bryansk region of the Russian Federation. After that, an enemy Su-34 fighter jet crashed. The Su-34 crashed not far from the Ukrainian border in the village of Istrik under Starodub, and the crew died.
