On May 29, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed 37 cruise missiles and 29 suicide drones of the "Shahed" type.
This information was reported by the press service of the Air Force.
“A total of 67 aerial targets were destroyed: 37 cruise missiles X-101/X-555; 29 strike UAVs ‘Shahed-136/131’; 1 tactical reconnaissance UAV”, the statement said.
It is specified that this time the enemy launched up to 40 air-launched cruise missiles X-101/X-555 from nine strategic aviation Tu-95MS aircraft from the area of the Caspian Sea.
In addition, the enemy attacked from the northern and southern directions with about 35 Iranian strike UAVs “Shahed-136/131”.
