The decision was voted by the Kyiv City Council of Defense. Entrepreneurs who have permits will be offered other locations to run their businesses.
Kiosk owners will be informed about the necessity of moving and the reasoning behind it. Within three days, they’ll have to dismantle and move constructions.
The safety of people is a top priority under martial law. Around 1,500 citizens use the metro stations as shelters.
