According to underground sources in the Bryansk region, a division of the "Bal" missile complex has been redeployed by the Russian Federation. It is likely that the occupiers plan to strengthen missile strikes on Ukraine.
This information has been reported by the Center for National Resistance.
“This installation is part of the 11th Separate Coastal Missile Artillery Brigade of the Coastal Forces of the Black Sea Fleet, stationed in Utash, Krasnodar Krai. The division is designed to strike ships. However, due to the lack of suitable missiles, the “Bal” has been equated in range and shooting capabilities against ground targets with the “Bastion” Coastal Missile Complex, which uses the supersonic “Onyx” missile”, the statement said.
The underground sources note that the “Bal” complex is currently equipped with the X-35/35U missiles. They were upgraded in 2021, increasing their range from 260 to 500 km.
Additional Information: The “Bal” complex is designed to control territorial waters and straits; protect military-naval bases, other coastal facilities, and infrastructure; defend the coast in dangerous directions of possible landing operations.
