Russian rockets damaged the building of the Kryvyi Rih Thermal Power Plant, resulting in the power outage of three mines.

The Ministry of Energy’s press service reported this information.

“As a result of the shelling, there are damages and disconnections in the main networks in the Dnipropetrovsk region. Over 9,000 people are without electricity. In Kryvyi Rih, three mines are also without power, where several dozen people were trapped. The miners were later rescued. The explosive wave also damaged the building of the Kryvyi Rih Thermal Power Plant. By morning, some power consumers have been restored, but 6,000 subscribers in the region remain without electricity”, the statement reads.

The Ministry of Energy added that the Russians continue to terrorize the front-line and border territories. In the Donetsk region, 41 settlements have been blacked out due to intense shelling, and in the Dnipropetrovsk region, three settlements are affected. Damage to the power infrastructure has been recorded in the Chernihiv, Sumy, Kherson, and Kharkiv regions. Part of the consumers in the Zaporizhia region also remains without electricity due to previous shelling.

Earlier, we reported that six people were killed and 25 injured as a result of a night enemy attack on five-story building in Kryvyi Rih.
