Sumy was attacked by strike UAVs, hitting an administrative building and residential houses.
One person has died, and 16 are injured, according to the Sumy Regional State Administration (OVА).
“As of 10:49, four Shahed 136 UAVs were recorded flying over the center of Sumy, Sumy region. As a result of the strikes, an administrative building and two apartment buildings were damaged,” the statement said.
According to the OVА, as of 13:00, there are preliminary reports of 16 injured individuals and one fatality. The affected individuals have received assistance.
Evacuation efforts and the mitigation of fire aftermath are ongoing, as reported. Temporary accommodations have been provided to the affected population, and arrangements for their placement are being addressed by the Sumy Regional State Administration.
