The Armed Forces of Ukraine have officially adopted the 10th model of FPV drone into service.
This was announced by the Minister of Defense, Oleksiy Reznikov.
“This is the result of joint efforts, for which I want to thank my colleague Mykhailo Fedorov, ‘Army of Drones’, the manufacturing company, and all the experts involved in the process”, said Reznikov.
According to him, this FPV drone, like other models, is assembled in Ukraine but primarily with foreign components.
“The next step is to produce the main components in Ukraine and ensure diversification to guarantee the army’s independence and supply stability under any circumstances”, the minister added.
He also reminded that over the course of 15 months, the Ministry of Defense has already adopted more than 30 models of various types of UAVs – reconnaissance, strike, kamikaze drones, and barrage munitions drones. A separate category for UAV munitions has been officially established. At the same time, all of these are being tested on the battlefield and undergoing modernization. Gradually, unification will take place.
It is worth mentioning that Ukraine has started production of operational-strategic ‘Rubaka’ kamikaze drones capable of covering distances up to 500 km.
