Luxembourg and Montenegro have joined the Declaration from the G7 countries that provides security assurances for Ukraine.
This was announced by the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky.
“I am grateful to Luxembourg for joining the G7 Declaration on security assurances for Ukraine. I thank Luxembourg and its people for unwavering support for Ukraine, based on common democratic ideals and shared interests of our Euro-Atlantic family”, stated Zelensky.
Montenegro has also joined the declaration regarding security assurances.
“In a meeting with President Jakov Milatović, I thanked Montenegro for its humanitarian, military, and political support, as well as for joining the G7 Declaration on security assurances for Ukraine. We discussed support for the Peace Formula and preparations for the Global Peace Summit”, the President wrote.
Previously, Kosovo, which has limited international recognition, had joined the security assurances. Albin Kurti, the Prime Minister of Kosovo, published the document and mentioned that his country plans to support Ukraine in its struggle for victory over Russia and assist in holding the Russian leadership accountable.
