Russian forces shelled the village of Podoly in Kupiansk district, resulting in a 50-year-old man getting wounded and hospitalized.
This was reported by the head of the regional military administration, Oleh Syniehubov.
“This morning at 6:30, the enemy shelled the village of Podoly in Kupiansk district. A 59-year-old civilian man was injured and hospitalized. Also, in the village of Petrovka in Kupiansk district, a fire occurred, causing damage to a private residential house”, the statement says.
Furthermore, according to the head of the Civil Defense Organization, as a result of shelling from missile-artillery plants in the village of Yurchenkove, located in Chuhuiv district, three private houses were damaged, power lines were disrupted, a shop building was destroyed, and a private car was demolished.
It should be reminded that the occupants had previously attempted to breach the Ukrainian defense line in the Kupiansk direction. However, as reported by the commander of the “Achilles” assault UAV platoon of the 92nd Separate Mechanized Brigade, Yuriy Fedorenko, the enemy is not successful in the Kupiansk direction and is suffering significant losses.
