Minister of Defense of Ukraine Oleksiy Resnikov has submitted a resignation statement to the Verkhovna Rada.
Oleksiy Resnikov announced this on Facebook.
“In compliance with the decision of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, I have submitted a resignation statement to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. I am ready for accountability. Stay strong!”, he declared.
As a reminder, earlier we reported that Rustem Umeryov would become the new Minister of Defense.
