On the night of August 13, the submarine "Rostov-on-Don" and the landing ship "Minsk" were hit in Sevastopol.
This was reported by the Commander of the Ukrainian Air Force, Mykola Oleshchuk.
He hinted at the use of Storm Shadow missiles, noting that the Russians are still “weathering the storm” after the attack.
“While the occupiers are still weathering the storm and recovering from the night’s fireworks in Sevastopol, I would like to thank the pilots of the Ukrainian Armed Forces for their excellent combat work! More to come…”, he said.
It should be noted that the Russians had been using the “Rostov-on-Don” submarine for attacks on Ukraine. According to preliminary information, two workers were killed at the ship repair plant in Sevastopol, and nearly 30 others were injured. Recall that on the night of September 13, powerful explosions were heard in the temporarily occupied Sevastopol: the occupying “authorities” of the city confirmed a fire at the ship repair plant in the Kilen-Balka area, while the Russian Ministry of Defense claimed damage to two ships.
The Russian Ministry of Defense reported that “ten cruise missiles were launched” at the ship repair plant named after S. Ordzhonikidze in Sevastopol that night. In addition, “three unmanned boats targeted a group of Black Sea Fleet ships”. As a result, a massive fire broke out there.
