A ship loaded with agricultural products has departed from the port of Chornomorsk and is heading through the temporary corridor in the Black Sea towards the Bosporus.
This was reported by the Minister of Community and Territory Development and Infrastructure, Oleksandr Kubrakov.
“The RESILIENT AFRICA vessel with 3,000 tons of wheat has left the Chornomorsk port and is moving in the direction of the Bosporus. This is the first of two ships that entered the Chornomorsk port last week through the temporary corridor established by the Ukrainian Navy for civilian vessels”, he noted.
According to him, the second ship is currently in the port being loaded with Ukrainian wheat destined for Egypt. Kubrakov mentioned that the ships are flying the flags of Liberia and Palau, and their crews consist of citizens from Turkey, Azerbaijan, Egypt, and Ukraine.
It’s worth noting that the first civilian ships passed through the temporary corridor to the Chornomorsk port on September 16. The corridor, previously established by the navigation directive of the Ukrainian Navy, was used for evacuating vessels that were in Ukrainian ports like Chornomorsk, Odessa, and Pivdennyi at the time of the full-scale invasion by the Russian Federation.
