Russians struck the Kremenchuk Oil Refinery with a "shahed" drone on September 20 during a nighttime attack in Poltava region.
This was reported by the head of Poltava Regional State Administration, Dmytro Lunin.
According to him, Ukrainian air defense systems successfully repelled the attacks of enemy UAVs, but there were still some hits.
Unfortunately, there was a direct hit on the Kremenchuk Oil Refinery. A fire broke out, and all relevant services are currently working at the scene. The operation of the refinery has been temporarily suspended.
Lunin added that there are no casualties reported at this time.
As a reminder, during the night of September 20, Russians attacked Ukraine with 24 “shahed” drones, 17 of which were shot down by Ukrainian air defense systems.
