The SSU and the State Bureau of Investigations (SBI) have exposed the main saboteurs from the elite special operations unit of the Russian Federation, who carried out sabotage on ammunition depots in Ukraine and the EU in 2014-2015.
This information was reported by the SSU.
The Security Service and the DBR have identified the individuals within the entire command structure and leading members of one of the most secretive Russian special services, the Special Operations Forces of the Russian Armed Forces.
Among them are the current commander, Major General Valeriy Flyustikov, and former Putin’s bodyguard Alexey Dyumin, who held the position of commander of the GRU special forces in 2014.
Based on the collected evidence, both Russians and 25 other representatives of the Russian Special Operations Forces, as well as their accomplices among the militants of the so-called “LNR” and “DNR,” have been charged with sabotage.
Personnel from Russian special services have been involved in high-profile assassinations and terrorist acts on the territory of Ukraine and the European Union, including the explosion of a military facility in the Czech Republic.
It is noted that on the Kremlin’s orders in 2015, representatives of this special service organized the sabotage of a combined depot of rocket and artillery weapons of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Svatove, Luhansk region. For this purpose, the Russians deployed the “Leer-3” electronic warfare system with three “Orlan-10” drones.
Additionally, SBU and DBR officers, in cooperation with Czech partners, have established the involvement of Russian Special Operations Forces in the explosion of an ammunition depot in Vrbětice, Czech Republic, in 2014.
